'Blocker Bug' Puts Off Long-Awaited Event Y00ts NFT Mint
Non-fungible token (NFT) project Y00ts has pushed back its much-anticipated mint by one more day, the project's founding team said in a Twitter thread on Sunday.
The team said that this was because of a "blocker bug." In a broad sense, "blocker bugs" are problems that come up during the testing stage of a project's development.
The team said in the thread, "Due to the nature of this bug, we do not feel comfortable making the mint live right now." They predicted a one-day delay.
CoinDesk asked the Y00ts team for more information about the bug, but they didn't answer.
In the past few weeks, Y00ts has taken the NFT world by storm. It has done this by making a public whitelist of influential NFT people and famous people who are new to crypto, such as soccer player Wayne Rooney, rapper Lil Baby, and former basketball player Allen Iverson, also known as "The Answer."

The Y00ts NFTs will be created on the Solana blockchain through the marketplace Magic Eden. Before they can be created, whitelisted accounts must buy 375 of the project's DUST tokens. (DUST is the official token of the DeGods ecosystem, which was made by the NFT collective.
Before the mint opened, there was a fair amount of trouble. Many Twitter detectives have tried to link the project's influencer hype to under-the-table advertising, but most of these claims have been shown to be false.
