Cronos Labs, a blockchain network developer, has initiated the search for eight promising startups to join the third cohort of its $100 million accelerator program, which is designed to provide vital support to early-stage cryptocurrency projects.
The recruitment phase for the 12-week program began on September 4th, aligning with the commencement of Korea Blockchain Week, scheduled to run until September 10th. An announcement disclosed to CoinCryptoUs on Tuesday highlighted the program's specific emphasis on artificial intelligence.
"The accelerator program is targeted at teams building at the intersection of AI and crypto," Cronos Labs said. "In particular, it is designed to attract projects utilizing AI to provide unparalleled speed and efficiency that will help take products to market."
Blockchain developers have been capitalizing on the growing enthusiasm for AI in recent months, particularly in the wake of the widespread success of tools like ChatGPT. Venture capitalists have also intensified their focus on AI, recognizing the pivotal role it plays in attracting investments within the crypto sphere.
Cronos Labs has enlisted the expertise of industry leaders, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and renowned blockchain security experts from PeckShield and Certik, to serve as mentors for the program.
