On Wednesday, the promotion announced that they will be partnering with Crypto.com on a long-term basis where the cryptocurrency site - the first of its kind to partner with the UFC - will have their branding on on athlete’s fight kits in competition, as well as the corners for the fighters.
The first Crypto.com-branded apparel will make its debut during UFC 264 on Saturday, July 10, headlined by a third fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. The crypto company was also named the “Official Cryptocurrency Platform Partner” in an entirely new sponsorship category for the UFC.
Earlier this year, Crypto.com became the first crypto platform to partner with an F1 team (Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One), the first to partner with an NHL team (Montreal Canadiens), and the first to partner with a professional sports league (Lega Serie A).
